Fees

Registration and starting auctions are free of charge.
No fees are charged to buyers (excluding user subscriptions).
A final value fee is charged in most categories when an item is sold. The fee is 4.85% of the final price, but no more than 80 € and no less than one euro cent.
Categories with no final value fee:
  • Baby accessories;
  • Baby strollers;
  • Baby cots, Furniture;
  • Children’s shoes;
  • Children’s clothing;
  • Toys;
  • Children’s goods / Other;
  • Test auctions.

Fees are also charged for the use of additional/advertising options.
These options have fixed fees, which are charged each time an auction is started or restarted:
Bold -  0.30 €
Highlighted -  0.80 €
Category Top -  1.50 €
Homepage Top -  2.80 €
Extended Duration -  1.30 €
Additional Images -  0.60 €
Reserve Price -  0.60 €
Extension -  0.80 €
Restrictive Option I -  0.30 €
Restrictive Option II -  0.30 €
The applicable fees are charged to the seller’s user account. Prices are final and include VAT.
Complaints and objections regarding charged fees may be submitted within 15 days of the date on which the fees were charged.
Complete chronological information on all account movements is displayed in the user account of each profile, with records older than 24 months grouped together.

Fees for the use of advertising options are non-refundable.
A final value fee refund system is in place. A refund request may be submitted by the seller only in the case of an uncompleted transaction and provided that all of the following conditions are met:
  • the request is submitted no earlier than 10 days and no later than 25 days after the end of the auction;
  • no positive rating comments have been submitted in relation to the transaction;
  • there is no information indicating that the shipment associated with the respective auction has been delivered.

If a user is required to provide a security deposit in order to prevent malicious/unfair actions (in accordance with point 10 of the General Terms and Conditions), the amount is refundable after a period of 18 months of proper use of the platform, calculated from the date of payment, or upon an early request to terminate the user’s activity on BalkanAuction. The security deposit may not exceed 130 €.

One-month BidSniper subscription - 5.00 € (from the date of the request until the same date of the following month).
Anonymous subscription - 6.50 € (from the date of the request until the same date of the following month).

When an account is funded with an amount equal to or greater than 300 €, the auction platform provides a bonus equal to 10% of the funded amount.

The General Terms and Conditions and the Fees section are interrelated documents, and any change to the fees is reflected in the date of the latest revision of the General Terms and Conditions.
