Interesting set of the small denominations 1 and 2 forints. Due to degradation of the economy after the communist flourishing period the 1 and 2 forints coins became to have so neglectable value that it was decided to stop their usage. As the result in 2007 right before the end of the circulation a memorabilia with these two coins were produced at the mint. This set shows history of the forint along the ruler: the larger the value on the ruler the farther in past the coin is shown. Due to rarity this mint set is not published in the Standard Catalog of World Coins. For the large interest of collectors to this exceptional issue it was decided to publish it in Numista catalog N№1999 en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces1999.html with images of this very ruler.
